Senior Estate Planner
Who I am
After studying law in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, I specialized in tax law at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales. With a degree in hand, I joined Deloitte & Touche in their Tax & Legal department. We handled income tax for both individuals and companies.
When I moved to Artesia Bank, I discovered the world of estate planning (and wealth taxes) a bit by chance, but it has definitely allowed me to get the most out of my two degrees. I joined Puilaetco in 2004, before the merger with Dewaay, as an Estate Planner.
What I do
Today, I am happy to be surrounded by a young, dynamic and talented Estate Planning team.
Our mission: to pass on our clients’ wealth to their heirs.
This means not just looking at the client’s personal situation and goals but also at the legal and tax framework.
Good communication with the client and constant updating of legal and tax knowledge are essential.
What I think
Several heads are better than one. Pooling knowledge and experience is a real advantage for a team and for the whole group. We have to take advantage of our group dimension. That’s why the Estate Planners from France, Luxembourg, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium meet twice a year to exchange knowledge on a number of predetermined topics.
