Outsourcing Coordinator, Steering and Reporting, ICT
Who I am
I was born in Munich and spent my childhood there and in Paris. As a young adult, I enlisted in the military service in Switzerland. Afterwards, I studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen and completed my degree at the University of Augsburg.
I live near the mountains and mountain climbing is my great passion. I spent much of my time there as a child and still enjoy it very much. I am an enthusiastic participant in all mountain sports, whether winter or summer. This includes hiking, mountain biking and skiing.
What I do
I have been with Merck Finck since 1999. My first six years were spent in monitoring, where I introduced the Bank Profitability Analysis. After this, I spent 1.5 years in risk monitoring, both commercial and operational. For the last seven years I have been working in Information and Communication Technology. My responsibilities include compiling the budget, analyzing actual costs and outsourcing. Additionally, I am the coordinator and contact point for statistics and analyses of all kinds, here and throughout the bank.
What I think
In my opinion, one should enjoy life, every single moment, even if things are not going altogether smoothly, professionally or personally. I am reminded of the following very apt quotation: Time is like a river, you cannot touch the same water twice because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment of life.
